Employment

At the heart of any successful research study are its people. IHRP strives for excellence in research, and we seek the best staff from a wide range of backgrounds. We respect and encourage our employees' desire to reach their personal potential and to be an essential part of a successful research institution.

IHRP offers careers at the cutting edge of health research, with opportunities from project coordinators to doctorate-level research managers. We consider the diversity of our staff one of our most powerful assets in our research.

About “Visiting” Positions:

In a grant-supported environment such as IHRP, some full-time non-faculty positions are designated “visiting” positions. Visiting positions are eligible for the university’s full benefits package, but are for designated periods of employment, usually one year (up to three years if funded by a grant). Because they are temporary, these positions do not require a formal search process.

Some visiting positions have the potential to evolve into permanent positions. In that case, or if the term of employment is extended beyond the limit, visiting positions become subject to a formal, fully public search.
